The City of Wood Heights is responsible for protecting our community’s health, safety and welfare through effective enforcement of city codes and ordinances.
The goal of the Code Compliance Division is to provide information to all interested parties and to fairly and efficiently enforce the City of Wood Heights Code and Ordinances.

The City of Wood Heights has a Code Enforcement Officer/Building Inspector. His duty is to protect the City of Wood Heights public’s well-being and enhance the quality of life by enforcing the health, safety, zoning and sanitation codes.

Ordinances
An ordinance is a law passed by a your City of Wood Heights government.
The City of Wood Heights has Ordinances in place to help protect you, the residents, from dangerous buildings and infrastructure.
We do not currently have our ordinances online. We are working on sorting and organizing our ordinances into a more user friendly site page. We hope to have this completed in the near future.
